Urbaan Real Estate is a boutique company that specialises in leasing, selling, and sourcing the right property for expats that are living in Thailand, and for overseas investors.

The company celebrated its first anniversary since opening on the 23rd January 2011, and what a year it has been!

Nobody predicted the worst floods in Thailand in over fifty years, and the property market was certainly badly affected with few farangs looking to spend money in Bangkok. However, there was increased interest in our other key market, Pattaya, and also from Thai’s looking to have a unit on a higher floor, in case of future floods

During the course of our first year in business our goal has been to provide excellent, reliable, and efficient service, and paramount for this to happen has been to build an attractive, fast, and effective website. After our beta site was not working for us, we decided to use a local company, Kode, and the resulting site, along with effective SEO and paid internet advertising, has resulted in a huge increase in enquiries.

Along with various functions on our site such as Google Translate, a Currency Converter, detailed search capabilities etc, the List Your Property function has proved very popular, enabling customers that want to rent or sell their property, to list it on the site very easily.

Apart from the internet, Urbaan has also been very active with print advertising, networking events, and sponsorships. We regularly place targeted press ads for new listings, attend a large number of Chamber of Commerce events, and are proud to be sponsors of the Old Bangkok Bangers Rugby Club, and the Thailand Tigers Australian Football & Netball Club.

Urbaan RE staff are  expats and Thai, and have an in depth knowledge of Thai property laws, conveyance, and the property market in general.
